The author has pulled us into the lives of the characters and never lets go. It seems as if these people could be your friend. The love and loyalty in this family are remarkable. The continual twists and turns from the worst humanity have to offer is astounding. And yet Kathi S. Barton continually reminds us of the large hearts, love, and loyalty some people, shifters included, have. Especially when it comes to shifters and their fated mates. This is the second book in the "Foster's Pride" series and I'm hooked. I can't wait to read Quinlan's story next.
