Das evangelische Pfarrbild wird rege diskutiert. Dieser pastoraltheologische Beitrag bringt ein anderes, erstmals erforschtes Dienst- und Berufsverständnis in die Debatte ein, nämlich das der Predigerinnen und Prediger der Studien- und Lebensgemeinschaft Tabor. Das Verständnis von Dienst und Beruf wird historisch sowie empirisch-qualitativ mittels kategorialer Grundbegriffe rekonstruiert und beschrieben sowie den gegenwärtigen pastoraltheologischen Entwürfen des Pfarrberufs gegenübergestellt. Das ermöglicht es, voneinander zu lernen. Denn der eine Dienst der Predigerinnen und Prediger der Studien- und Lebensgemeinschaft Tabor verbindet verschiedene Berufe und bringt sozial-karitatives, verkündigendes und gemeindekybernetisches Handeln zusammen. [Ministry and Occupation of the "Taborbruder". A Pastoral Theological Contribution] The image of the protestant pastor is lively discussed. This pastoral theological contribution brings a different, first researched understanding of service and occupation into the debate, namely that of the preachers of the "Studien- und Lebensgemeinschaft Tabor". The understanding of ministry and occupation is reconstructed and described historically as well as qualitatively empirically by means of categorical basic terms and contrasted with the current pastoral theological concepts of the pastoral profession. This makes it possible to learn from each other. Because the one service of the preachers of the "Studien- und Lebensgemeinschaft Tabor" combines different occupations and brings together social-charitable, preaching and cybernetic action.
About the author
Kathinka Hertlein, Dr. theol., Jahrgang 1983, studierte Theologie an der EH Tabor, Marburg, sowie Soziologie und Erziehungswissenschaften an der Universität Mannheim. Sie wurde mit der vorliegenden Arbeit an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster promoviert. Seit 2019 ist sie Referentin für Theologie und Jugendsoziologie bei der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Evangelischen Jugend in Deutschland e. V. (aej). Seit 2003 Mitglied der Studien- und Lebensgemeinschaft TABOR, Marburg; seit 2016 Mitglied in der Sektion Professionssoziologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Soziologie (DGS).
