First reading by this particular author and I really highly recommend for both adults and youth. A must read, loved all of its characters and quite thought provoking!

A involved story about Cassie and her commitment to her students. Enter cop Mitch, lines get blurred and gang related problems with her star pupil muddies the water. I cried and was so touched by the whole story.

This talented author researches her subjects well, writes fluidly and with great empathy. The stories have strong, if unusual, plot lines, and the characters are strong and consistent.
