The stories include: At the Zoo, I Can Count (Numbers to 10), Rocket Count Down, How Do You Feel and I Like. These contain simple words that are supported by pictures to give young children who are learning to read the confidence they need to predict words and to read by themselves.

You will be giving your child a great start to learning how to read when you buy this book.

For more advanced early readers Level 1,  look at the Rabbit Readers Set 1 and Set 2 books. There is also a Sight Word book and ABC phonics sounds book in the Rabbit Readers series.

Its a great little book. Me and my daughter do it before bed and she has memorized the whole book now. The only thing I have to mark it down for is the ugly dog as it's so called. I just don't see the need for it or teaching kids to call something or someone ugly.

The first section on zoo, is just ok, with odd sized animal pictures. The pictures need lot of editing to be of a book quality. The counting and count down are ok. Other sections on expression and "I like ... " phrases is just so, and lack uniformity. My almost 3yr old son says "Its not a real book. Its only a picture book."
