Bearly Dangerous

I'm really glad that I discovered Kayci Morgan as each story just keeps getting better and more interesting as they flow from one to the next. Bearly Dangerous can be read as a standalone, but it flows smoothly from Bearly Rivals and is about Baily’s best friend Felicity. Felicity is a beautiful and intelligent woman, who has the worst taste in men and mother issues. She was raised by a “loving”, but demanding and critical mother. So she chooses men whom she feels won't leave her the way her father left her mother. Her mother plays the ultimate prank and says she is dying and wants to see her settled. So, of course, Felicity runs home to tell her lazy, good for nothing boyfriend that he has to marry her, he flatly refuses. When her scumbag boyfriend won’t marry her, she runs to her besty Bailey, Where Bailey’s two mates offer to introduce Felicity to some of the single males in their pack. And this is where the action begins. Felicity meets not one but two shifters, Kyle and Hunter, who are best friends that are both interested in her. But with a mother like Felicity has, and the fact that Kyle and Hunter may be in love with each other leads to humor, misunderstandings and possibly love and mating. I enjoyed this book. It was well written and the story and characters were well developed. I liked the characters and the story was good. However, the love story was just a bit too far fetched for my personal liking. It had plenty of hot chemistry, emotion and romance. Overall a good book that’s worth a read !! Great addition to the Paranormal Romance genre! The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created. The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.
