About this ebook

A Victorian time-travel holiday novella

It’s a Victorian Christmas at Thorne Manor, and Rosalind Courtenay is staying far, far away from the door that leads to the twenty-first century. It took her four years to get back home, and she’s never going near the time stitch again. But her five-year-old son has other plans, and Rosalind finds herself plunged back into the modern world, where she decides to face her fears and give her family the holiday gift of a lifetime. Once again, Fate has other ideas, sending a blizzard to derail Rosalind’s cautious planning and toss them all into a whirlwind of savage snowstorms, spectral sleigh bells and, perhaps, a Christmas ghost or two.

This holiday novella is the perfect gift to readers and fans of Kelley Armstrong's work, especially to those patiently awaiting the next book in her time travel series. As much as I loved Rosalind's adventures in the second installment, I missed William and Bronwyn from the first and didn't want to see them left behind, so it was great to see them make another appearance here. It was a treat to follow Rosalind on this wonderful adventure, even moreso to have the added holiday charm woven throughout. I can't forget to mention the added sneak peek from the third installment tucked into the end, and how excited I am to read it when it's released!

About the author

Kelley Armstrong believes experience is the best teacher, though she’s been told this shouldn’t apply to writing her murder scenes. To craft her books, she has studied aikido, archery and fencing. She sucks at all of them. She has also crawled through very shallow cave systems and climbed half a mountain before chickening out. She is however an expert coffee drinker and a true connoisseur of chocolate-chip cookies.

Armstrong is the author of the Rockton thriller series, standalone thrillers beginning with Wherever She Goes, and the Royal Guide to Monster Slaying middle-grade fantasy series. Past works include the Otherworld urban fantasy series, the Cainsville gothic mystery series, the Nadia Stafford thriller trilogy, the Darkest Powers & Darkness Rising teen paranormal series and the Age of Legends teen fantasy series.
