I love books about superhuman abilities and people finding out they possess them. Great read. The storyline was easy to follow, characters were easy to fall in love with and the love n adoration between Jade and Aiden was priceless. He was willing to protect her at all costs. This is definitely a book worth reading or recommending to friends.

This is an excellant coming of age story for YA. Except for Jade, coming of age included severe cuts healing within minutes and then finding out her boyfriend could hear her thoughts. That one thing alone would have most young people paralyzed with embarassment ("I know what you were doing last night. If your Mom knew, how long do you think it would be until she allowed you out of the house?). But that's just the beginning. Who is that brutish looking man and why does it seem like he is stalking her?

I liked the story, it's a new subject, for me anyways. However the story went so fast. There are a lot of unanswered questions. However, I can guess where this is headed with the unknown immortal who killed Jade's mother being the father who took off when he found out Jade's mother was pregnant with his child. How he learned of Jade's immortal status is something I hope would be answered as well as all the other questions.
