Author Kelly Weeks is a firm believer that learning to play music should involve playing along with recordings. This is the most natural and effective method for learning. It teaches the student how to play with a steady beat and prepares them to play with other musicians. This is not a comprehensive method for learning the guitar. It is a method to help you learn to play the basic guitar techniques with musical recordings. The audio and video play-along tracks can be found at: http://kellysmusicbooks.com/media
