Good action novel ... you love Toni Gallo... the kind of book that you use to pass the time ...that you use to switch between a great novel ( Fall of giants ) to the second part of the trilogy...now ready to read Winter of the World!!!!

It felt like the plot of an Ealing Comedy. Not a stretching read but a bit of fun. One for the beach.

There was something 'Christmas Movie ish' about this... I pictured reindeer knits, which ruined it for me.

Ken Follett was born in Cardiff, Wales. Barred from watching films and television by his parents, he developed an early interest in reading thanks to a local library. After studying philosophy at University College London, he became involved in centre-left politics, entering into journalism soon after.
