About the author

He holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University and is the former president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Hemphill’s previous books include The Prayer of Jesus, Empowering Kingdom Growth, Parenting with Kingdom Purpose, and Making Change.
