About this ebook

Teddy King excels at many things. Playing hockey. Check. Scoring on and off the ice. Check. Being stupidly attractive ... Double check.

Despite his demanding schedule, he still finds time to annoy me. I knew him way back when. Before he was the guy everyone wanted a piece of, he was just a rebellious college co-ed and one of my more energetic study partners.

But secrets have a way of getting out, and a steamy encounter from our college days (that we probably shouldn't have filmed) is about to cause a major scandal. Unless we can work together to stop it.

Teddy’s no stranger to hard work … but the thing he wants most?

Is me.

Note: This high-heat standalone is chock-full of scorching banter and steamy good times. He's a testosterone-dripping hockey player who wants a second chance. She's a tough as nails attorney intent on making partner. Frienemies to lovers. No cliffhanger. Enjoy!

Your favorite hot jocks are back with an all new stand-alone novel. If you like sexy, confident men who know how to handle a stick (on and off the ice), and smart women who are strong enough to keep all those big egos in check, this series is perfect for you!

Kendall Ryan scores a hat trick with book three in the Hot Jocks series, Trying to Score. This is hockey forward Teddy King’s and lawyer Sara Dawson’s story. Teddy and Sara made a sex tape together seven years ago when they were in college. Now Teddy is being blackmailed, and they need to do whatever it takes to try to prevent a scandal. This contemporary sport romance primarily takes place in Seattle. It is suitable for adult readers. I was really looking forward to this story. Teddy and Sara were always bickering in the previous book. It was fun learning their history. The two have amazing chemistry. They are a cute couple that deserved a second chance. It was entertaining experiencing the progression of their relationship. Kendall Ryan did a great job with this book. It is skillfully written and exciting throughout. I enjoyed the plot. The characters were in an interesting predicament, while balancing other issues with work and their personal lives. The story had a fun ending that felt well concluded. I recommend this book to people who enjoy second chance sports romances. I’m looking forward to Asher and Baily’s story next in Crossing the Line. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

More Hot Jocks, and book 3 comes in the form of Teddy King, super hot and super fit hockey player, with a heart of gold. When a sex video comes back to bite Teddy and his friend (and secret crush), Sara, in the butt, they both get coerced into a fake relationship. It’s not hard for them to pick up where they left off 7 years earlier, and the lines between real and fake soon start blurring somewhat. No angst, just a hockey player and a lawyer who share more than peanut butter ice cream and orgasms, and are quite honestly, a match made in heaven. A wonderful, quick, easy and stress free sexy romance. Addictive reading, fantastic characters, and perfect writing. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.

5 Star Review Trying To Score(Hot Jocks #3) by Kendall Ryan Trying to Score is the third book in Kendall Ryan’s latest Hot Jocks series and is Teddy King and Sara Dawson’s story. This is a friends to lovers story, with a side of hockey, that was an entertaining and easy book to read. What happens when a mistake from the past comes back to haunt you? That’s the position Teddy and Sara suddenly find themselves in when a romantic encounter which they filmed, suddenly sees the light of day. Can they work together to save their careers or will the secrets of the past, ruin the present and their future? Deciding to fake date in an effort to minimise the damage the tape can do, both Teddy and Sara will soon realise that neither of them are pretending. The chemistry between them is intense and I loved the build up. I loved Teddy, he is so swoon worthy and I would be happy to call Sara a friend. This was a fun, not particularly long book which was steamy and entertaining. It was great to catch up with the previous couples and see where they are now. I am excited to see who is next in the series .
