But not only must Tas dodge matrimony, he must elude a capricious wizard set on pickling one of every creature on Krynn, cheer up the last existing woolly mammoth, foil a most determined and deadly assassin, and—in the end—save Kendermore.

Mary Kirchoff is an editor and author whose fantasy and young adult novels have been translated into more than nine languages. She has written one short story and six novels set in the Dragonlance universe, including the Defenders of Magic trilogy, Wanderlust, and Kendermore. Aside from writing, she has edited books for Wizards of the Coast and Tor Books. She lives in the Pacific Northwest.
