Now, accompanied by heiress Kate de Vries and a mysterious gypsy, Matt Cruse is determined to recover the ship and its treasures. Yet another reason why Kenneth Oppel remains among my absolute favorite authors. In this astonishing sequel to the book Airborn, our young hero Matt is faced with yet another break-neck thrill ride of a story! Brimming with action, adventure with a blend of science, technology, history, humor and just a bit of mystery, this book is highly recommended to anyone in for a good, satisfying read. And for all you romantics out there, don't worry about a thing! Matt and Kate will have plenty of time to let their relationship with each other, and with others, progress... Overall, Skybreaker is by me considered to be one of the best books I have read, and I would definitely suggest for you to pick it up and read... you won't want to put it down!

Mr.Oppel is a phenomenal writer as ive now read Airborne,Skybreaker, and just started the third book of the series. Ive nothing but praise for him. He manages to mix mystery and intrigue into his storys however he leaves enough details for your mind to paint a clever image of everything down to the most minute detail. Reading his words allows you to see the pages in youf head like a movie. He includes alot of key things that keep a story interesting. Such as twists and turns always leaving you wondering whats next and he also adds some science and such thats very life like as if it was real he always makes sure to get his point across so you shant be confused and theres always somethinh to do with a love interest. I am glad i invested money ans time into this series and i look forward to finishing the final one.
