About this ebook

I came here for peace. To escape. But the woods have other plans.

Thalion. Mysterious. Powerful. Fae. A prince, bound by his own twisted magic. And he’s here. Watching me. Desiring me. I shouldn’t want him. I shouldn’t even be near him. But I am.

The nights grow colder. The pull between us stronger. Every touch, every kiss burns. And it’s too much. Too fast. Too dangerous.

He tells me we can’t be together. His world and mine don’t mix. I shouldn’t be here. But I am.

Christmas is coming. A time for miracles. A time for fates to collide. And I’m not sure we’ll survive this.

Our love is impossible. But I can’t walk away. Not now. Not when everything feels like it’s slipping through my fingers.

Enchanted Christmas is a dark holiday romantasy that weaves a hauntingly beautiful tale of forbidden love between a fae and a human, perfect for adding a thrilling twist to your Christmas reading. The writing for this book is exquisite. It helps to build the world and speaks in the tone the author is trying to convey. I enjoyed how the language she used drew me in from the start. My reason for the four instead of five stars is that the language is a bit repetitive. Also, darkness is mentioned but not expanded on to create a full-bodied world. Overall this is a quick, sweet story that is easy to read and well edited. So go into the woods and loose yourself with the characters and romance of that world. I didn't love this cutesy Christmas novella, but I didn't dislike it either. There was just something about FMC Elara that I couldn't connect with and it made me neither like nor dislike her. MMC Thalion was the perfect amount of mysterious to make his fae-ness believably impossible to ignore for Elara. I think the lack of side character interactions really made me struggle with reading it quickly and in one sitting like I normally do for short stories from Kenzie Skye. This short read is a very good romance story that's about Thalion a Fae Prince and Elara a human. Elara lost her family and moved to stay during the Christmas Season with her grandmother. The woods behind her grandmother cabin calls to Elara and during her walk she meets Thalion the guardian of the woods. Thalion has been watching her since she was a child tells her not to enter the forest, but the pull between them draws her. What occurs is a forbidden love story with likable characters. ARC
