About this ebook

It wasn’t shy librarian Lola McBride's idea to crash someone else’s high school reunion. It was her best friend who insisted that having a little fun with a super-hot rebound would make Lola forget about her recent breakup. Which is exactly when she meets the hottest guy she’s ever seen.

Architect Luke Erickson had no idea attending his ten-year reunion would turn out to be so fun. When he catches the sexy brunette in a lie, he counters with an offer. He’ll keep her secret—if she pretends to be his girlfriend at an upcoming family reunion. And now Lola and Luke are suddenly spending a lot of time together.

Luke may be most likely to avoid relationships at all costs. Lola may be most likely to desire a husband, kids, and white picket fence. Good thing they're only pretending, or this super-secret relationship could get really complicated.

Super cute fun read. Luke is determined never to fall in love. He's seen how bad things can be when they don't work out. Lola is a forever kind of girl. She wants it all. A great guy who adores her, kids, a loving family. These two would never work long term so Luke things he'll be safe asking her to pose as his girlfriend to keep his family off his back. There's a family reunion coming up and he just can't face all the questions he'll get bombarded with. Too bad his stupid heart didn't get the "don't get involved" memo. This is a very well written story and Luke and Lola will steal your heart. I highly recommend this one.

This book was super cute!! Crashing a reunion and following it up with a fake relationship??? Yes, please!! I wasn't expecting the angst in this story since I thought it was going to be a lighthearted, happy read but the little bit of angst thrown in kept this book from being too sugary sweet. Lola and Luke completely captured my heart. I was trying to find if this book is part of series and couldn't find it but I sure do hope so! The triplets NEED books of their own... And Frankie. And basically all of the characters :)

This is a fun, quick read that I just loved. All Lola wants is a family of her own, but has an uncanny knack of picking losers. Luke is never going to be in a relationship as he doesn't trust them. They meet when Lola and her friend crash Luke's high school reunion. This novel is peppered with so much wisdom from The Golden Girls that it could have been called the gospel according to The Golden Girls.....Frankie (Lola's friend), uses the show to guide her decisions and to nudge Lola in the right direction. This book made me smile and laugh, while hoping for Lola to get her HEA. Fans of the genre will love this book and its out just in time to be the perfect beach read.
