I grew up with the family and was one of the ones katlin called right after, most of the book is BS. The real thing no one could ever right.
About the author
Kevin F. McMurray is a freelance writer/author whose articles have appeared in The New York Times, the Sunday Times of London, Outside, Men's Journal and others. His books Deep Descent and Dark Descent are historical-adventure nonfiction works about notorious shipwrecks. Kevin has written several articles about true crimes that have appeared in Connecticut Magazine and several men's magazines. He has written St. Martin's True Crime titles including If You Really Loved Me and A Family Cursed. Kevin lives in Brewster, NY with his wife and two daughters.
