About this ebook

The story begins when David, a 16-year-old boy, finds his uncle according to his father's will. The uncle tries to kill his nephew David and take over the property, but fails, and eventually David is kidnapped by a slave ship called the Coverant. After a rough adventure, such as making a friend named Alan on the ship and fighting against others, David returns home safely and inherits his father's legacy.

About the author

Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) Robert Louis Stevenson is a Victorian novelist in the British Empire. Born on November 13, 1850 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is known as Dr. Jekyll and Hyde and Treasure Island's writer. It is said that the reason he had a good sense of adventure stories was that he, who was weak when he was young, admired adventure. He settled in Samoa, the South Pacific, stayed happy with his wife, and died of cerebral hemorrhage in 1888.
