About this ebook

Boys.

They are bound to be the death of me.

Especially one with blue eyes, perfectly Mormon cut hair, and probably the inspiration for the girl’s camp song "Hot Priest".

Why the heck did he have to be the bishop’s son?

Cause here’s the thing. While I’m Mormon, I don’t really belong. I mean, I want to, but I just can’t seem to keep on the straight and narrow. Seriously, look at me. I’m not even supposed to use the name Mormon anymore, but Latter-Day Saint is a mouthful. So I’m sticking to Mormon. Sorry, Prophet.

The bishop knows my past. He knows my problems. There is no freaking way he’s going to let me date his son.

Yet, Nate comes after me anyway. And I fall hard.

But eventually….I will have to tell him about my past.

And I know, he’ll run far, far away from me when I do.

A very worthwhile read for all every age. Forgiveness is for everyone if they believe in Jesus. Self forgiveness is the hardest but God Grace, mercy and love is all powerful. Wonderfully illustrated in this book. thank you.

I have read many books by this author and this is a departure from her other stories. That being said, if you have an issue with religious references and how one chooses to follow his/her beliefs then this may not be the book for you. Lauren is a young woman who grew up in a Mormon household with her parents. For two years, Lauren had to live with the repercussions of a betrayal perpetrated by her father. To help her cope, she became somewhat of a wild child and engaged in activities that were contrary to her upbringing. When her mother gets a new job, Lauren is forced to move to another state and will get a fresh start. It is liberating and a little anxiety provoking. This is where she meets Nate. He is the golden boy and the bishop’s son. There is an instant attraction between the two. Can the two build a relationship or are they just too different? Can Lauren forgive her past and herself to have the future she wants? Will Nate be able to get past his own judgement of the situation that Lauren found herself in? Ms. Loth weaves a gripping, emotional piece encompassing the themes of coming of age, forgiveness, learning to love oneself and overcoming obstacles. I highly recommend reading this book and letting go of any preconceived notions because once you start, you will not be able to put it down until the last page. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
