I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This is a fast paced suspenseful romance. Clint Broderick is a tech mogul from Chicago who comes to Braxville, Kansas after Detective Jordana Colton contacts him. Apparently Clint's uncle was found buried between the walls of a building due for demolition. On his way into town, Clint is attacked and left for dead. He is found with a piece of paper in his hands with Jordana's name and phone number. While unconscious, Jordana does a finger-print analysis and discovers his identity. That is wonderful news because when he wakes up, he doesn't remember. He long-term memory comes back but nothing within the last year does. There is a theme of who murdered Clint's uncle and the second body that was also found through the entire series. This book basically focuses on who and why is Clint a victim of a murder attempt. Things heat up between Clint and Jordana. This is a sexy read. I wouldn't really classify it as spicy but some may. If you love suspenseful romance, and are over the age of 18, then I would highly recommend this book. Again, it is a part of a series with an underlying thread but this can be read as a stand-alone.
