About this eBook

Telemachos has a comfortable life on his small island of Ithaka, where his mother Penelopeia keeps the peace even though the land has been without its king, his father Odysseus, since the Trojan War began many years ago.

But now the people are demanding a new king, unless Telemachos can find Odysseus and bring him home. With only a mysterious prophecy to guide him, Telemachos sets off over sea and desert in search of the father he has never known.

I wish I had read this book before studying the Odyssey in school! Odysseus's son must face his fears and set sail in search of his long lost father, or risk losing his kingdom if his mother remarries one of her greedy suitors. Mythical creatures, Greek history, and fun-loving friends (including a quick-witted centaur and a take-charge girl) make for an exciting adventure to foreign lands. Telemachos demonstrates that bravery isn't inherited — it must be learned. — D. Emory, Nashville, TN

I absolutley loved this book. The characters are unique and make you feel so much emotion, the plot keeps you on your toes for the entire book, and there is so much attention to detail. A job well done by Tracy Barrett.
