There are also interactive examples that allow the learner to go through the instructor led and in-class student exercises found in the book on their own. Video examples are also included to supplement the learning process.

You can't print out the assignment pages: The paper copy has perforated pages for this purpose. The paper book also comes with an instructional CD with quite a bit of material, none of this material comes with the google play book. Don't waste your money without talking to you instructor first.
