This was my first book by Emily Michel and I found it to be an entertaining book set in a small town with several fun characters and an interesting plot. The epilogue at the end was nice but I might have wanted to see how things were a little further into the future for the couple. I received a free copy of this book via StoryOrigin and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Emily Michel writes speculative romance under the direct supervision of her void cat while resisting her husband's efforts to make her go outside. She lives in Arizona with said husband, two children who are taller than she is, three feline overlords, and an imagination cup that runneth over.
