My Violent Valentine

Alas, a wild ride comes to an end. I don't even care about the collateral damage Brian and Mina left in their wake; the fact that two *unique* characters found a home in each other is all I was invested in throughout this series. Granted, their story is dark and twisted, but it is theirs, crafted in Kitty Thomas's unique flair for dark and taboo romance. I'm going to miss these two, that's for sure!

This was the absolutely most perfect wrap up to Brian and Mina’s Holiday Hits! This story, it is so them, has all the varied elements that make up their dynamic, and all the things we kind of considered lay beneath the surface, brought to life. From the moment I started, I don’t think I blinked, and then when I finished, I was so happily, deeply, satisfied, with the characters and where they ended up <3

"Is this what it feels like to be human? If so, I want to claw it out of me." And so we come to the ending of this incredible, amazing series. And what an end. Action-packed, emotional, and filled with unexpected twists and turns. I won't even try to discuss any details as I don't want to risk spoilers. Brian is at his absolute best here. I can't believe how much he's evolved since the first book. And yet he's still Brian. I think there's only so much he can change. He made me laugh, cry, gasp and even infuriated me. Mina. What can I say? All the things she's been through, all the changes, yet she really never looses what makes her so special. She truly is Brian's perfect partner. This series, and these characters, are so worth the time to read. They're unforgettable.
