Lachlan Niche had way too much money and in my opinion not enough brains to be worthy of holding onto it. And I was happy to help him out with that problem.

The job was simple. He hired me to steal a priceless piece of art that wasn’t for sale.

But I wasn’t about to steal for this guy—certainly not a painting created by the man who inspired me to become an artist.

I decided I’d just forge it. He’d get the fake, and I’d get a cool 12 million for the imaginary heist.
