Das Diskursfeld »Theologie(n) Afrika« ist geprägt durch Begriffe, die nicht nur Theologien generieren und Theologiegeschichte gemacht haben, sondern auch Wissen und Bedeutung konstruieren, Erfahrung strukturieren sowie Verstehen und Denken organisieren und steuern. Die Beiträge des vorliegenden Bandes befassen sich mit zentralen Termini und Konzeptionen in diesem Diskursfeld und zeichnen ihre jeweilige Geschichte nach. Dabei geht es um die Historisierung des jeweiligen Begriffs, den Aufweis seines konstruktivistischen Charakters und den Bedeutungswandel, den er im Kontext des weiteren Begriffsfeldes durchlaufen hat. Diskutiert werden die exemplarisch ausgewählten Termini Afrika, Afrikanische Unabhängige Kirchen, Authentizität, Bildung, Entwicklung, Gott, Islam, Leben, Macht, Migration. Selected Terms in a Contested Discursive Field] The discursive field "Theology/-ies Africa" is characterized by terms that not only generate theologies and have made history of theology, but also construct knowledge and meaning, structure experience, and organize and control understanding and reasoning. The articles in this volume deal with critical terms and concepts in this discursive field and trace their respective histories. It is about historicizing the particular term as well as disclosing its constructivist character and the change in meaning that it has undergone in the context of the wider field of terms. The following terms selected as examples are discussed: Africa, African Independent Churches, authenticity, education, development, God, Islam, life, power, migration.
