Er is iets heel raars aan de hand op Riks nieuwe school. De kinderen maken graag huiswerk. Ze drinken liever melk dan cola, vinden skaten veel te gevaarlijk, en voetballen doen ze ook al niet. Maar ze zijn wel 'dol op topo' en roepen 'Yes, staartdelingen!' als de rekenles begint. Dat is toch niet normaal? Straks word ik zelf ook nog zo, denkt Rik benauwd.
Dus gaat hij op onderzoek uit. Als hij ontdekt wat er met de kinderen gebeurd is, wordt hij bang, dóódsbang...
