I like the story and characters a lot, but it ended so abruptly. I know there are more books in the series, but the ending of this one was very sudden and unexpected.

Having been married to a Special Forces guy for 57 years and observed the single guys in the units, they are the best to be around. Protective of all the ladies. I miss the closeness of the wives and girlfriends, even the guys. I don't think we ever get out, just fade away. Way to go, girl.

There was no end to the story. It ended even before it started. I see it as a way to make more monat by forcing us to buy the next part.
