About this ebook

A Big Bear Romance

He might growl, but she’s not afraid to bite.

Hands full taking care of his clan, the last thing this Kodiak bear needs is a woman poking her cute little nose into his affairs. But when she refuses to back down—and shows the courage to stand up to him—he can’t resist the allure of a curvy city girl.

  She’s mine. All mine.

And when a rival clan thinks to use her to force his paw, he’ll show them why you never piss off a Kodiak, or threaten what’s his.

Tammy is convinced all men are scum, even gorgeous ones like Reid Carver. She knows he’s hiding something. Something big. She just never expected a real freaking bear hid underneath all those yummy muscles. But when the truth comes out and he tries to scare her off with a roar, she shows him not just bears have bite.

Welcome to Kodiak Point, where the wildlife might wear clothes, but animal instinct rules the heart.

I almost lost interest and quit this book in the 3rd chapter. At first there was a lot of gramical errors and repetition. Some details kept repeating, then certain words over and over. Knowing big words is useless if you use them too often. Anyway, by chapter 5-6 the writer seems to relax a bit and the book gets easier to read. The details made more sense, the story line started flowing. Best part, it wasn't based on a skinny perfect women.

Ok, so, it’s no purple alien, but this 1st novel in Langlais’ Kodiak Point series really held my attention. I enjoyed the mix of chemistry with personal conflict, action with getting to know the characters. Langlais’ seamless writing easily melds with her vivid descriptions to take readers deep into the heart of Kodiak territory. I love Langlais’ take on shifters and the characters that she creates from them. Not only did the main characters really stand out but the entire cast held my attention. I love the fact that Tammy not only loves food, but actually eats it. Reid’s Alpha-all-the-way attitude really drew me to him. He was such a captivating individual when we really got to know him. Langlais definitely makes romance fun with this one. It’s a great story that sets the scene well for the rest of the series.

Not bad. I loved that the female lead was curvey. That she was happy with her curves and would not change even for the man she was dating. I also loved the grandma that was blocking them two. What I didn't like was that she had become a shifter.
