About this ebook

A blaze destroyed more than my firefighting career. It destroyed my life.

Court cases, therapy, and five pins in my bones later, I’m a divorced father working myself ragged trying to provide a good life for my son. I’m exhausted, and honestly, I don’t know what to do.

And to make things worse, the only person who can soothe my aches and pains is Camille Frasier, my son’s preschool teacher. She’s beautiful. She’s empathic. But I might not be able to give her the fire she needs.

Some wounds don’t heal correctly, and no matter how much heat Camille offers, I’m trapped inside the cold box of my past, wondering if I’ll ever find my way out…

Join Dan and Camille in this story readers compare to Colleen Hoover’s CONFESS and Jessica Park’s 180 SECONDS.

Dan is an ex-fireman and single father to his young son. Camille is the art teacher who works at Bart's daycare. They are immediately attracted to one another. This story is very erotic and romantic. The characters are interesting and sympathetic. The sex scenes are scorching hot.

About the author

Kris’s contemporary romance series, The Quidell Brothers, brings her descriptive touch to the real world. Her fantasy and futuristic romance series, Fate – Fire – Shifter – Dragon, sets it free in the fantastic. She’s traversed many storytelling worlds—dabbles in film and comic books, time as a talent agent and a textbook photo coordinator, as well as a foray into nonfiction. But she craved narrative and richly-textured worlds—and unexpected, true love.

Kris lives in Minnesota with her husband, two daughters, and Handsome Cat. Join her newsletter to enter: http://tinyurl.com/krisaustenradcliffe
