In a few days, Snow White will turn 25 and become the Alpha of the Pacific North West White Wolfpack. She will be her own woman, and won’t have to bow to her stepmother anymore. Stepmother dearest wants Snow to snatch Malcolm Taylor, CEO of Taylor’s Jewelry, thus save the White B&B from financial ruin. Snow is not the crafty sort, and although very pretty, she has no idea how to play the seductress and ensnare Malcolm. What luck that Snow’s best friend Hunter just popped into town after a five-year absence! Hunter is an authority on seduction, he’ll be an ideal person to ask for advice. SNOW’S SEDUCTION is such a treat! Right from the first lines, Kristin Miller had me laughing with her take on the “Mirror, mirror on the wall” line. It’s not easy to review a novella, particularly the first in a three-part series without giving anything away, just be assured that this is a fabulous read. And strange as is may seem, it stands perfectly on its own, and as an added bonus, even readers who don’t fancy shifters can dive right in, because the paranormal element is barely hinted at. I don’t usually enjoy the “masked ball mistaken identities” trope, but this was brilliant! Maybe it’s because the story is very fast-paced, but it was very well done, and believable as well. Ms. Miller has mastered the art of writing very explicit sex scenes and keeping them tasteful, playful, light, and fun. SNOW’S SEDUCTION is a novella, I naturally expected it to be a quick read, and I read it so quickly, I could hardly believe it. I will repeat myself: because it’s just so much fun. Snow is a klutz, and there are several amusing and highly entertaining episodes. There’s enough story to hold the sex and the budding romance in a coherent whole, and Kristin Miller does a great job at building the characters; they felt real to me, and Snow is adorable and Hunter is simply delightful; he is a great friend, we should all be so lucky! SNOW’S SEDUCTION is so much fun! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
