Kristina Malmio, Ph.D. is Adjunct Professor in Nordic Literature at University of Helsinki, Finland. Her research interests include modern and latemodern Finland-Swedish literature, literary theory and sociology of literature. Malmio’s latest publication is an anthology, Values of Literature (together with Hanna Meretoja, Pirjo Lyytikäinen, and Saija Isomaa, Brill/Rodopi 2015). She has published extensively on Finland-Swedish ction and edited several scholarly anthologies. Malmio is the leader of a research project, Late Modern Spatiality in Finland-Swedish Prose 1990-2010 (2014-2017) supported by e Society of Swedish Literature in Finland.
Mia Österlund, Docent, is Adjunct Professor in Comparative Literature at Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland. Her research interests are girlhood, gender studies and children’s literature. Österlund has published a book on gender transgression in young adult ction and has co-edited anthologies of literature studies. She has published extensively on gender in picture books and is editor of Barnboken. Journal of Children’s Literature Research.
