Charlie Mason is drowning in grief, responsibility and traitorous relatives. If that were not enough she is suffering from mating heat… the only problem… she sent her mates away. Life is enough of a struggle trying to put her pack back together without dealing with not one, but two mates… two mates that will want her to leave her pack and live with them in Sanctuary. As the new alpha of her pack, this is something she won’t contemplate. When her uncle, Victor decides to court their enemy and vie for her position as alpha, though, it’s time to call in her mates and let the chips fall where they will. Garrett and Travis were forced by lycan law to walk away from their mate when she ordered them to. They don’t like it. It’s getting hard to wait for her call. In the meantime, their enemy Xerxes is up to his usual tricks. He has another kitsune in his keeping and it’s going to take their mate’s resources and direction to get to her. But dare they call Charlie? They are hard pressed to decide and then they get her call. She needs her ex-soldier, bad boy tattooists. She needs her mates. The circumstances may not be the choicest, but they’ll take what they can get when it comes to claiming their mate. Their mating is fiery and explosive. However, it isn’t a bed of roses. The challenges just keep piling up and the danger escalates. These three will have their hands full salvaging what they can from what is left of her pack. While their mating may come on the ashes of the past it will be built on a solid foundation of love. I’ve read a few of Krystal Shannan’s books to date. I enjoyed them. I suppose it’s a good thing that we don’t rate books according to the others an author writes, though, because this one is so much better. I know that is probably my prejudice speaking, though. I’ve read both her contemporary and a few of her paranormal romances. So, you might ask what it is about this one that appeals even more. I should preface this by saying My Warrior Wolves is the first in the Sanctuary, Tx series that I’ve read. The Sanctuary, Tx series brings the heat to another level. It also is just that much farther into another world, a world with lycans, dragons, djinn, vampires, sirens and any number of other paranormal species. Sanctuary, Tx exists in a divided America. This opens up the chances for world building exponentially. The series also has a real nasty villain. So yeah, the suspense, action, romance and paranormal aspects really just do it for me. ******Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions*****

Charlie Mason lost everything, and she’s trying to put her life back together in Ada; she even left her life mates, brothers Travis and Garrett McLennan back in Sanctuary, Texas. But when things get out of control, Charlie has no choice but to call back her mates to Ada. They all must also acknowledge that they are truly Fated mates, and they must remain united, in every way. Charlie is the alpha heir, but in order to be the Alpha her pack needs, she must bond with Travis and Garrett. Considering the combustion that happens every time they’re near each other, it’s not difficult, but the brothers must move to Ada, and they’re not too keen about that. But their love for Charlie supersedes their connection to Sanctuary. The pack comes undone because of Charlie’s own family’s betrayal, and the horrible Xerxes is behind all the horror that will befall Ada… MY WARRIOR WOLVES has it all and in spades! Picking up where book 3 left off, it might not be a book that will be easy to follow for a reader unfamiliar with this series, but I think it’s well worth the effort. If you love great storytelling, amazing worldbuilding, innovative paranormal beings, and hot, hot, hot sex, this is a book for you. I love how Ms. Shannan makes her paranormal world ring so true, especially the Fated Mate bond with two Lycan mates; it could be tricky, but it works perfectly. MY WARRIOR WOLVES has even more action than the previous books – who would have thought it could be possible! – and the sex is just about the most sizzling I have ever read anywhere, and in a most respectful and loving context. As usual, Ms. Shannan’s writing is flawless, seamless, and at times sheer poetry. MY WARRIOR WOLVES is a Greek tragedy, in a paranormal context, with a strong dose of erotica and the best/most horrible villain in a good long while: I love to hate Xerxes! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the fourth book in the series. If you haven't read this series yet what are you waiting for! Krystal Shannon writes one heck of a villain. With each book I dislike him more and more. Great job on the villain. My heart just breaks for Charlie with all the loses her packs has faced, but then what happens in this book would break anyone. The heat level is very high in this one. It's a mmf relationship between Travis, Garrett, and Charlie. They are definitely tested in this one. The last chapter in the book I was laughing from the scene between Garrett, Travis, and the little girls. Xerxes is getting stronger and coming up with new intelligence to further his revenge. One that stuck out was Xerxes wife's name Cera. That's the name of one of my cats so I thought that was pretty cool. Can't wait for more from this series.
