Demon Lord, Retry!

The majority of this book is as entertaining as the ones before it. However, there's one key element that currently has me on the verge of dropping the series: Ren Miyaoji, the cover girl. To put it simply, she's boring. Her entire personality is just worshipping Kunai. Unlike Yuu, however, who has her often amusing 'mad scientist' quirks, worshipping Kunai is the only character trait Ren posesses (unless you count "is compassionate"). Given the entire reason Kunai summoned her is to serve as his bodyguard—and was Akira's favorite character in the entire game—we are presumably going to be seeing a LOT of Ren in the future. And I definitely won't be able to stomach a full book of her being a lovestruck sycophant. The only reason I'm not giving this book 2 stars is because she isn't in most of it. If she was, I'd be dropping the series for sure.

The story is really good and hilarious, can't wait for the next book. Edit: The issue has been solved, I can read my books library again.

Political moves being made in this volume. The long awaited Ren advisor has been summon. The demon lord is now up against the thief Jack of All Trades and another look into the past from the world Akira was in before being turning into the Demon lord.
