About the author

Since 1998, Professor K.C. Chen has been a Professor at Institute of Communication Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC, and is currently the Irving T. Ho Chair Professor. Dr. Chen is Involved in the technical organization of numerous leading IEEE conferences, including General co-chair for 2007 IEEE Mobile WiMAX Symposium in Orlando, USA and TPC chair for IEEE 2010 Spring Vehicular Technology Conference. He has been editor of a number of prestigious international journals and has authored and coauthored over 200 technical papers and two books.

Professor Ramjee Prasad has held the chair of Wireless Information and Multimedia Communications at Aalborg University, Denmark (AAU) since June 1999 and is also the director of the Center for TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF). He has presented several keynote speeches, and delivered papers and tutorials on aspects of telecommunications at various universities, technical institutions and international events. Dr Prasad is technical advisor to several multinational companies and has published over 500 technical papers, contributed to several books and has authored, coauthored and edited nineteen books in the broad area of Wireless and Mobile Communication.
