About this ebook

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of the Rixon Raider series comes a brand new sports romance series. Lakeshore U, where hockey is religion, and the players are gods. Are you ready to fall in love with a Laker?

When Dayna Benson moves home she doesn't expect to feel so torn. On the one hand, she's glad to be back in Dupont Beach. But it means parting ways with her boyfriend and facing ghosts she thought she'd left behind.

Enter Aiden Dumfries.

Arrogant. Angry. With enough attitude to freeze over Lake Erie, he's determined not to let anyone help him.

When he finds himself exiled to the small coastal town after a scandal that could ruin his hockey career before it gets started, his plans for summer break are dashed.

He's Lakeshore U's bad boy on the ice. She's sunshine, smiles, and something that feels a lot like hope.

But can Dayna melt Aiden's heart?

Or will she end up burned?

Dayna and Aiden could not be more different and shouldn’t work together and yet they do.Can Dayna break down the walls that Aiden has surrounded himself with ? I fell hard for bad boy Aiden, he ticked the boxes for me and I really loved Dayna’s parents, they were so heart warming. There is so much more to Aiden than what he shows the world and I loved how caring he was with Dayna. As the walls crumble between them, will they find a lasting love?

Guys, when I read "Bite the Ice", I thought Aiden is a cocky playboy but Aiden in this book, SWOON!!! Oh, he is still cocky with a way he forces himself into Dayna's life but he is also cute and very funny as well. The story is very entertaining from the beginning. I have to confess that I feel a chemistry between Dayna and her brother's best friend when I read the first chaper so I'm a little bit confuse about his name because I read its blurb and I think it's Aiden's story. But I can't complain much because Dayna and Aiden meet through him and their chemistry is hotter and they're better together, LOL. Although it's also sweeter and more hilarious than I thought it would be. I smile while I'm reading through their love story. There is a little bit of angsty feeling but not enough to tell that this book is angsty. I love every minutes I spend reading this book and after I now read 2 books in the series, I can tell you that I love how this series is presented by L.A. Cotton!

About the author

USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of over forty mature young adult and new adult novels, LA COTTON is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.

Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time writer with being a mother/referee to two little people. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find LA immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.
