Most of his books pretty much follow the same pattern, with just enough variance to keep the stories interesting without becoming to repetitive. The main item I truly appreciate, is his insight into the psychological factors of the common persons mind when it comes to government or things they want done.

Another brilliant offering by L. E. Modesitt jr, the continuing saga of recluce and the battle of chaos and order utilizes a very unique magic system and the world of this series is described well, and characters to champion. I'm hooked on pretty much every series he writes.
