Artista sensibile, dal tratto elegante e dallo sguardo attento al mondo femminile, Annie Goetzinger è una delle disegnatrici più rappresentative del fumetto francese. Esordisce nel mondo della bande dessinée dando un grande contributo a riviste antologiche quali Pilote, Circus e Fluide glacial. Nel 1975 pubblica Casque d'or, opera che le vale due premi al Festival internazionale d'Angoulême. A partire dal 1980 dà vita al sodalizio artistico con lo sceneggiatore Pierre Christin, insieme al quale pubblica numerose opere.
