About this eBook

TAHOE ROTH.

Irreverent, cocky, playful and naughty.
He’s not the guy you date.
He’s the one night stand.
The one your mother warned you about.
The one your body craves.

You’d think the man who called me succulent would want to strip me down and spread me out on his bed—like he’s done with countless others.
But he passed on my offer….
Just like I’d once passed on his.
He’s wary, like I am.
He’s broken, like I am.
And everyone knows two broken parts can’t ever make a whole.
Tahoe and I are strictly friends.
So I distract myself with other men.
He doesn’t think my new man is good enough. This blond blue-eyed beast doesn’t think any man is—himself included.
But the more time we spend together, the more confused I feel.
I'm trying to open myself to love.
Yet I'm quickly realizing that the only man I want is Tahoe Roth.
The one man who will surely break my heart.

A sexy new contemporary romance from New York Time and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans. Although connected to the Manwhore series, this book can be read as standalone.

Ladies Man by Katy Evans is the third book in her Manwhore series but is a standalone story. It is better to read the series in order but you could jump right in and read Ladies Man and not feel like you've missed too much of the pre-story. This is the story of Tahoe "T-Rex" Roth and Regina "Gina", they are best friends with, respectively, Malcolm Saint and his new wife Rachel. This book is really well-written. It is descriptive without being overly so, it spans a year or so in the lives of Tahoe and Gina and it manages to traverse that time-frame without rushing through anything. Whereas Tahoe is an absolute ladies-man (hence the title) he is also a VERY nice, well-mannered guy. All women know what they are getting into when they sleep with him and are beyond okay with this. Gina is friends with Tahoe in a way no other woman is. He respects her, and values her, so much so that he has turned her down once already. Ladies Man is all about the slow-build. The slow-build of their feelings for each other, of each characters own personal development into a stronger and more self-aware character, and finally into the happily ever after moment. Gina has had a lot of crap to deal with in her personal life and Tahoe's respect for her and what is best for her is evident. Told solely from Gina's perspective, we, as a reader, get to see the signals Tahoe puts off making his interest evident even when Gina is willfully oblivious to these same signals. Loved it!

Tahoe and Gina have enough unresolved sexual tension to drown in it. They both know that the other wants them, but crossing that line could end their remarkable friendship. He does not intend to be monogamous, and she's looking for a forever man. They flirt, and they fight the inevitable. Tahoe is a big man with a big personality. He's honest, full of life and always up to something. Gina is pretty relatable for adult women looking to find that special man. She isn't a doormat, but it's hard for her to see her self-worth sometimes. She's never been the center of someone's world. This is the story of two magnets fighting the pull. Ladies Man is a win for me. I really liked it. I'm in love with Tahoe. The romance is wonderful, and I also think Gina's journey may inspire readers not to settle in life.

Loved Ladies Man!!! Ladies Man is the third book in the Manwhore series but can be read as a standalone. Tahoe and Gina are friends, really close friends. She wants them to be more than friends, but Tahoe doesn't believe he is good enough for Gina. While fighting their attraction and their chemistry, Gina and Tahoe try to move on with their lifes, being just friends. But for how long will they be able to fight the inevitable? Ladies Man is an amazing book. The story is captivating and hooked me from the first page. It has lots of drama, laughter, and sexy scenes. I couldn't stop reading! Tahoe's and Gina's journey takes the reader in a rollercoaster ride of emotions and it's a ride you'll not want to miss! I loved the chemistry and banter between Tahoe and Gina and how their relationship blossomed. Gina is fantastic! She has been burned before by love. She now puts on a mask to hide herself. She hides behind her makeup but just wants someone to accept her as she is. She is so relatable that I couldn't help but cheer for her. Tahoe... Oh Tahoe! He is so hot and yummy! He is an alpha male and a ladies man. But there is more to him. He loved and lost and now believes he isn't good enough for anyone, especially Gina. He is so sweet and made me swoon several times. I couldn't help but fall for him! Once again, Katy Evans wrote a phenomenal book, with a captivating story and awesome characters. The story and characters are very well written and are very relatable. Katy's writing style is very flawless, making the connection with the characters and the story very easy. Now I really need to read Rachel and Saint's story in Manwhore , Manwhore +1, and Ms. Manwhore !
