This was an interesting sports novella, beginning the story of Wes and Cara. It was refreshing that it was soccer and it both MCs were striving to start a professional career. Both Wes and Cara are focused on getting picked up by a professional team. Neither one has any aspiration for romance, justa little fun, but there is a special spark that gets lit. Assumptions are made that lead to a divide. I think I will read Forging Glory to see how thngs transpire with Wes and Cara.
