Daemon's Blood is the first book in a new series by this author. Like all her other series, this one did not disappoint. I enjoy Ms. Sky's world building. Each paranormal universe she creates is different in its own way. In Daemon's Blood we have a mix of two paranormals: vampires and witches. The animosity and automatic distrust between Atiernan and Miranda, along with an undeniable chemistry, leads to many tense moments.

Such a good read that had my attention from the very start. There is mystery, unwanted attraction, surprises, and misunderstandings that had me in shock and anticipating what would happen throughout the story. I does end in a cliff-hanger and I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens and who the real villain is. Definitely a recommended read for anyone who loves dark paranormal romance. I received a review copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

This sinfully seductive read quickly sank its tantalizing claws into me and has me viciously craving more! Miranda and Atiernan's story gets off to a wickedly tempting start with a lush combination of scorching heat, brutal intensity, raw emotion, captivating drama, taut tension, breath stealing danger and jaw dropping twists. I really liked these two and find myself very intrigued by the layers that are in play here. Of course this is only book one of two for this couple so that means there is a looming cliffy ahead. As for myself, I thought it was amazing. Can't wait for book two!! This is my frank, freely posted review.
