Room 143: A Sexy Standalone Romance: A Small Town Steamy Second Chance Love Story

Simply adored this heartfelt romance. It was exactly sure what to expect when I started reading Room 143 as the reviews I saw told me this differed from Ms. Briscoe’s other book. But I love her writing style so I decided to give it a go. Believe me when I say, I am very glad I did. The storyline deals with powerful issues that will break your heart but the author has written it in such a fun, flirty, romantic way that it will end up melting into your soul. Nash is a widower who lost his wife and unborn son in a car accident. She was his childhood sweetheart and only love. 5 years later he is still him a curve and a possible 2nd chance at life. Watching Nash deal with the pain, the guilt and the hope of moving forward was simply breathtaking. Especially with happy, upbeat Caroline who is also starting a new life in a new town with a new career. Their journey from page one of Room 143 to the very end is one I HIGHLY RECOMMEND traveling down. You won’t regret it. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars for this amazing read. And if I may add, I hope Ms. Briscoe writes more books in this vain as she truly did a remarkable job with Room 143.

Room 143 by Laramie Briscoe is a standalone contemporary romance about a widower who is pushed to move on by his family and a woman new to the small town that steps in to help her best friend only to find herself in a situation she never expected. The chemistry between Caroline and Nash is palpable. The situation in which they first met is crazy! The premise was so much different than what I was expecting from the blurb - but I've loved every Laramie Briscoe book I have read so far so I gave this a chance. I'm so glad I did. It's a small-town romance with a kinky twist in the meet-cute but I loved it all. Enjoy!

This book brings me back to all the things I loved best about “Trick”, we just have a new leading couple this time. Nash and Caroline’s story sucked me in, and I was so frustrated that my every day activities kept getting in the way of my reading. I did not want to put it down. It made me laugh. It nearly brought me to tears several times. This was a beautiful story of hope for everyone who's looking at starting over. Now, I badly want to know more about their friends and family.
