This is a fun premise but the execution fel a little short. While still a nice little romance, there are plot holes I don't understand. It's never really mentioned how mates recognize each other. They just decide they are? It's a little off. And their meet up in the beginning is skeevy too. They talked for 3 minutes on an app and she gives him her address? I probably will read the next book but this one just didn't live up to it's potential. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The conflict in this book is a little different than usual most. Achilles is afraid of being anyone’s mate because of a precognition. Dakota recognizes him as her mate and is frustrated with how he treats her. Thank goodness for his grandmother! This is another good effort from Laura Greenwood. Some sexy scenes and lots of emotion and a good story. It’s not very long so would be good way to spend an afternoon. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I really wanted to love this book and give it 5 stars but that’s not what happened. I struggled with this book. I absolutely loved the blurb and couldn’t wait to read it, however sometimes the end of a chapter doesn’t lead onto the start of the next one if that makes sense. Right after they meet up for the very first time at Dakota’s house, the start of the next chapter is confusing to say the least. To start with it reads like it’s a few days afterwards and then you find out it’s actually only the following morning. It doesn’t seem to flow in a way that I like but that could purely be because of the style of writing being a type I’m not used to. I also like longer books so the story has time to develop and engage the reader more. Honestly I’m not sure if it’s just not my favourite style of writing and that’s what the problem is. I’m sure there are lots of people that love it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
