This is a 4 book bundle. I had read the beginning of book 1 in the past so was happy to finish it. The MFC is humorous, but you can tell she will blunder her way into a serious mess. Desperation does that with anyone. The storyline went a different direction than I was expecting initially, probably because I didn't read the blurb. There were moments I wanted the characters to listen to me but, no surprise, they just did what they wanted. I was having rabid backseat driving symptoms.

I don't know why - but this series became a comfortable read for me & I was so sad when it poofed! It's silly, a bit depressing, & has good twists along with a pretty decent cast of non-main characters too!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a page turner packed with mystery, suspense, drama and action. It has moments of laughter too. It drew me in and Callie and her cat they are hilarious and at the same time you know that she has so much strength in her. Love these books.
