Thoroughly enjoyable book from Laurence. Just the right amount of depth to keep you interested during your read. Places described well, Almost to the point of feeling that you had actually visited Instanbul. You really feel for the characters. Bit of a shame that the "Puzzle" series start to go downhill after this book. By the third book I was really pushing hard to finish it. Shame really as it could have been a great series of books. Let's hope Laurence turns it around. Take a lead out of Scott Mariani's "Ben Hope" or Clive Cussler's "Dirk Pitt" series and you might just be able to swing it back on track.

Excellent read! Not so much like Dan Brown, as others have suggested, not that this is a negative in any way. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars are the slight inaccuracies regarding bacteria and viruses which are two VERY different things (antibiotics treat bacteria, not viruses). I understand this won't bother 99% of readers, but for scientists like myself or medical professionals, it's a shame that these little errors pull one out of a engrossing storyline momentarily! Otherwise great :-)

Good if you like religious conspiracy reads, but a bit predictable (free diver?) and more of a full stop then an explanation than a real ending.
