This story is the beginning of a new series so it starts slow. Lots of world building and character development. It’s not until the last 20% that the action picks up. This seems to be a spin off of another series or standalone because there are a lot of references to characters and events that seem vital but are referred to only in passing. This book ends in the middle of a battle which is a cliffhanger of the worst kind. Luckily the next book is ready to go. Interesting enough to keep going for another book to see where this goes. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a a fantastic start to a new series that is a spin off of the Lughnasadh Elite Academy series. I really like the diversity of the characters as each member to the RH is distinct. This is a well written story with vivid descriptions. I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.

Book one in the Guarding Their Dragon series NOT fair it ended on a cliff-hanger, just as it was getting to a good part. I want to read the next book. This is a new Author to me. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Layla Heart (side-pen name of Skylar Heart) loves sexy romances and has a particular soft spot for broken boys and their damaged girls. When she’s not reading or writing steamy stories, she loves to nap with her adorable cats, preferably under a fluffy blanket, and play videogames.
