this story talks about jack journeying into LAX in the beginning chapters and really explains his experience traveling. Some detail about his friends and the own small personality traits they had was nice. there were a few scenes that showed jack to be some sort of time defying shooter. he was praised in the book for having really quick reflexes and can shoot very quicky. but was also mentioned to be injured and taken to an ambulance stretcher, if I recall correctly. I think this book was more for following him and learning who he was because of the mention of the 'flashback', I would see this as a intro to the series because this is the first book in the series I've read. the fact that you can read the book in any order is what gives this series it's own take.

As I work my way through the Lee Child set they just get better and better. This one is up there at the top as its plot twists and turns to a tempestuous climax.
