About this ebook

"Consistently pulse-raising. . .an exhilarating ride. . .Personal wrests back the sheer gusto of the earlier novels; it's the best Reacher adventure in some considerable time." (Independent)

Jack Reacher walks alone.

Once a go-to hard man in the US military police, now he's a drifter of no fixed abode. But the army tracks him down. Because someone has taken a long-range shot at the French president.

Only one man could have done it. And Reacher is the one man who can find him.

This new heartstopping, nailbiting book in Lee Child's number-one bestselling series takes Reacher across the Atlantic to Paris - and then to London.

The stakes have never been higher - because this time, it's personal.

Although the Jack Reacher novels can be read in any order, Personal is 19th in the series.

I give 4 stars because it was very slow to get going but when I eventually got to about half way through I couldn't put the book down. It started out a bit slow and took me months to get there, but after I picked it again for another try, I suddenly found it starting to get exciting then that was it, finished the 2nd half in a few days.

A very enjoyable read. I really enjoyed his style of writing and pace if the book. Great characters although Romford boys were a bit stereotypical for my liking and despite some great plot twists I never felt Jack was in the s#*@ as he would have been.

Bit of a yarn... Romford Boys? The real ones are more interested in how to get into a boy band or an episode of Towie than organised crime. Still - if it means that at some stage Tom Cruise might show his face in The Liberty it's worth a read...
