Low Country Christmas is the third book in Lee Tobin McClain's Safe Haven series. Because the author put enough background information in the book, this book could be read without having read the other books first. However all the characters are great as is the whole series. I think readers would want to read all the books in order to truly enjoy the series. I received a copy of this book from the author but was not required to review it. My opinion is my own. Cash and Holly as well as Cash's siblings, mother, and the other supporting characters could be actual people. I loved them. The books were hard to put down because I wanted to know what happened next. The author gave so much detail and life to the characters and made the situations so real that you could imagine every scene. Lee Tobin McClain is a gifted author! One warning is that the series could be a trigger for those who experienced domestic violence. I believe it was dealt with care.

Low Country Christmas by Lee Tobin McClain What a wonderful Christmas romance to add to my Christmas reading this year! I truly enjoyed reading this story of Holly and Cash. I excitedly turned page after page as surprising twists and turns made this Christmas romance so intriguing. Left to raise her niece as her own child, Holly sets out to complete her sister’s dying wish to let the father know of his child. Only the journey isn’t as simple as it seems. Holly never plans for her heart to get involved along the way. While this is the third book in the Safe Haven series, it can definitely be read as a stand alone book. I received a copy of this book from the author, but was not required to give a positive review. This is my honest opinion of this book.

This story focuses on Cash. He finds out that he is the father of a baby girl and the mother has died. The baby is being raised by the deceased girls sister. This is a really sweet story of family and issues within families. There are some shocking revelations that really make you stop and think about your life and how to not live with regrets. I loved the story and how it ties right in to the previous books in the series.
