I totally enjoyed reading Runaway Princess Bride by Lenora Worth, book three in The Castles of Dallas series. Cara escaped what could have been a major mistake fleeing to her family’s Texas ranch. She was determined to hide this from her family, not disrupt her brother’s upcoming wedding and figure out how what’s next for her. Unfortunately for her, Aiden Castle was also staying at the ranch as he oversaw the building of Castle's first technology store. These two seem to push each other’s buttons, especially after earlier sharing kisses at Castle’s costume ball. Add in a Texas snowstorm that traps these two at the ranch and see what fireworks they create as they discover an attraction to each other and a need to solve Cara’s troubles. Ms. Worth wrote a wonderful and moving story that is not to be missed. It had me laughing, crying and everything in between. This story is filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. I highly recommend this book to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

There is just something about a book/series that is based around where you live yourself. It makes that book since a little extra more especially when the author gets the facts correct on the real parts and makes the imagined parts almost fit into places you have either been to (Neimans) or worked at for 20+ years (Sanger Harris/Foley's Dept Store). Yes, Castles is not a real place but to me it is almost real because it is a mix of where I spent my retail years and where I used to spend my Holidays looking at the catalog or what little time I had free checking out their displays in downtown Dallas. This book is the third book in the series and Aidan could in a way be my own husband. How weird this author is almost tapped into my life in a low rent way. Yes my hubs ran the electronic department in the same retail store and is a computer wiz like Aidan. Now Cara well here we have a woman who is searching for love to the point that she gets taken by a con-man but does she realize it before she marries him? Cara has a heart as big as the state of Texas and that is where she runs to hide and heal and of course wait for her brother's wedding. This book is different from the first two books in the series...it has more of a mystery to it and that is a good thing for me. I am looking forward to more books from this author and hopefully more based in the DFW area.

Cara has run away from the alter of a secret wedding after finding out her groom was a con man. The only safe place to run would be her family ranch, the Double L, never expecting to find Aidan Castle. Aidan and Cara shared a kiss a while back, only to find out she was taken. Now both are at the ranch during a freak snowstorm, and they can not deny the chemistry between them. But Cara is not telling the whole truth, can Aidan trust her? This is a fast paced story that I thoroughly enjoyed. Great characters and dialogue. This is the third and last book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. I'm sorry to say goodbye to the Castles!
