Thomas Baas est né à Strasbourg où il a suivi les cours des Arts Décoratifs. Il travaille beaucoup pour la presse et a illustré plusieurs albums chez Flammarion jeunesse dont Blanc bonhomme de neige, Le croqueur de cauchemars, Barouf à San Balajo, le pop-up Boucle d’Or et L’envol d’Osvaldo.
